Its no secret that I just LOVE Valentine's Day.

Some background for ya- my mom grew up in Mexico City where Valentine's Day is more commonly referred to as El Día del Amor y la Amistad- The Day of Love and Friendship so growing up that is how we celebrated Valentine's Day. It was a day to celebrate the people and friendships you treasure and love not just a celebration of romantic relationships. I mean, what is not to love about that! So I still celebrate Valentine's Day as a day of celebrating friendships and also actively try to convert all my hallmark Valentine's Day haters into VDay lovers. See what I did there :)

I also find Valentine's Day to be the perfect excuse to get inspired, bust out some new favorite stationary, get creative and send out snail mail Valentines.
