I was all set to post this yesterday --the first day of spring-- but the excitement of my mom being in town caught up to me and we left the house for a packed day of site seeing and happy hour-ing before I could hit publish! So today you're getting a round up of my favorite things for spring a day late and in lieu of a weekly round up post. I hope you'll forgive me! I also suspect you don't care... ha ;)

For spring, stock your closet with layerable pieces and pieces you can easily mix and match. You could easily layer a chambray over your favorite maxi to make it appear as if its a skirt. Top it off with a canvas jacket and you've got a casual weekend look. Pair that same bold maxi with strappy sandals and you have a wear and go dinner date night outfit! Personally,  midi skirt is a must have on my list this spring as its perfect for sunday brunch or with pumps for work-- wearable in so many ways! The mama and I are off to do some outlet shopping (woop!) so I'm hoping to stock up on spring staples. What are your must haves for spring?
