Gift guide season is upon us!
This season I’m going to focus on some harder to buy gifts and assume that you know your family or significant other far better than I do and don’t need the help. However, if you do still need some inspiration, hop on over to the holiday shop tab later this week. I’ll be updating the page with some gift inspiration for you as well as sale alerts. I hope you find it helpful!
FIRST UP-- A GUIDE FOR THE HOSTESS
It’s not even the end of November and your December calendar is probably almost nearly full. Ammiright or ammiright? You probably have an engagement every weekend and slowly but surely your weeknights are filling up as well. 'Tis the season! Are you planning on hosting any of those little soirees? If so, you know that it’s not easy. It’s not rocket science hard, but being the hostess means you don’t get to just show up…like all your friends do. Practice some empathy this season and don’t arrive empty handed. It doesn’t have to be much but the holiday cheer goes a long way when you show up with some chocolate, a small gift or champagne (my personal favorite, duh). Consider sending some flowers via UrbanStem if you can’t quite get it together to bring something the night of. Flowers, wine or cheese go a long way my friends.

Now is probably as good of a time as any to remind you that, as noted on my contact page, this blog may contain affiliate links. That means that from time to time I share links here that may result in me earning a commission from purchases made through that click/link. I hope you know me well enough to know that I would never share something with you just to earn commission. That just ain’t my style. Any commission earned is just an added bonus to blogging since this isn’t my full time job.
You just can't go wrong with champagne!
